Prospect Assessment and Registration

An assisted multi-stage form is currently in design and production. This questionnaire is intended to serve as an instrument for pre-scheduled live-assisted critical self-reflection, analysis, and assessment enabling the prospect to determine if their values, goals, and expectations are compatible with those of the community.

“The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy.”
― From “Strength to Love” by Martin Luther King, Jr. (1963)

Now forming: Λn Solas Sí ΛrtScience Cooperative (ΛSSΛ CO-OP)
An innovative Live-Learn-Make Community for Communications, Performing Arts, Content Development, Intellectual Property Management.

True innovation is easier demonstrated than expressed in words. This is in part because there can be no simple shorthand for what is outside our experience, our common sense.

Our community of practice will through arts both subtle and gross, render uncomfortably new concepts in socioeconomic and environmental justice into forms less threatening, more readily comprehensible, and easier to adopt.

So, if illusion, magic, ancient lore and science fiction all inspire your interest in membership as a Co-Founding Co-Creative, then we should have a conversation about this early-stage Sociocratic Worker Cooperative.

Core Principles in Practice . . .
Economic Democracy for Social Democracy
To Optimize Human Strengths, Accommodate Human Limitations
Through the research, development, and studied practice of Secular Humanism, Sociocracy, Democratic Socialism, and Cooperative Managed Intellectual Property and Cooperative Managed Capital and Equity

Our Co-Creative Community to be . . .
While avoiding the pitfalls of “prettification“, we seek to remediate, re-green, surgically re-wild a large liminal cyberphysical space, cultivating an artfully messy, overgrown, post-apocalyptic tone for a Live-Learn-MakerSpace for a Cooperative Performing Arts Community.

Ecocentrism is a core value of this proposed community so for maximum public visibility of our demonstration, this cyberphysically augmented habitat’s location selected will be within or as close as possible to one of the Docks of Eastern San Francisco Bay and or Coastline as possible, preferably West Oakland but any other easily accessible locale from South Richmond to North San Jose, CA.

In addition to funding and incorporation the CoRM or Community Relationship Management portal with multi-stage self-evaluation and application for membership being the highest priority.

The current WordPress blog will be retired in favour of a NextCloud portal featuring webmail, project management calendar, decision-making, video conferencing, Collabora (LibreOffice Online), and the integration of advanced forum software Discourse.

Community Framework . . .

  • Ecocentric Infrastructure and Habitat Management
  • Communications, Power and Control Management
  • Réalta CoRM Community Relationship Management
  • Transport Infrastructure and Demand Management
  • Health, Fitness, Experiential Learning Environments
  • Decision-Modelling and Experimental Usability Lab
  • Federated MakerSpace and Fabrication Lab
  • Massive Augmented Performance Theatre
